Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-1944) was born in a traditional Catholic aristocratic family in Lyon, France. He served in the French Air Force from 1921 to 1923. In 1926, he joined the La Técore Company and started his mail business. During this period, he published novels "Southern Mail" (1929) and "Night Flight" (1931), and his literary reputation rose. In 1939, another work "The Earth of Man" was published. On the eve of World War II, he returned to France to participate in the war against Germany. In 1940, he went into exile in the United States and lived in New York to immerse himself in literary creation. In 1943, he participated in the Allied War of Resistance in North Africa. In 1944, Saint-Exupéry returned to the Allied Mediterranean Air Force. In a flight mission on July 31 of that year, he flew a plane into the blue sky and never came back. His representative works include "Southern Mail" (1928), "Night Flying" (1931), "The Earth of Mankind" (1939), "War Pilot" (1942), "The Little Prince" (1943), and "The Fortress" (1944).
