About the Author
Fabrice Moireau
Watercolor painter. Graduated from the National Higher School of Applied Arts and Crafts in France.
Fabrice travels around the world all year round and is obsessed with depicting nature and architectural heritage. He likes to use watercolors to express the subtle changes in light and shadow in nature and the charm of cities, streets and landscapes. Many of Fabrice's works have been published by Gallimard and Louis Vuitton and translated into multiple languages ​​and distributed worldwide.
Fabrice's most representative watercolor notebook series is a true record of the appearance and cultural history of famous cities around the world. The series also includes "Florence Watercolor Notes", "Provence Watercolor Notes", "Venice Watercolor Notes" and other volumes.
Yves Simon (Fabrice Moireau)
Writer and composer. Yves Simon completed his first novel at the age of 24 and it was published by Grasset Publishing House. After that, he completed seven novels, three poetry collections and one fiction collection, all of which were translated into multiple languages ​​and published around the world.
In 1987, Yves Simon won the French Booksellers Award for his book The Peerless Traveler; in 1991, he won the Medici Literature Award for his book The Emotional Deviation; his lyrics and music won the French Songwriters Association Award in 1995, and then the French Chanson Award in 1997. This genius who shines in the fields of literature and music made Michel Foucault say: "Yves Simon is one of the artists whose works have a great appeal to me. I am fascinated by his works in any form."
Yves Simon is also a traveler and has completed many trips around the world. France, especially Paris, is the source of many of his inspirations.
