Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
The author of this book, Linda, is the one who has written several books about "America from a Close Distance". Now, she went to Paris with a literary masterpiece about "revolution" (Ninety-Three). In the castles, squares, palaces, churches and museums in France, she chewed on the cultural achievements, savored the feast of art, listened to the echo of history, and felt the thoughts and wisdom condensed in blood and fire by the predecessors. In the strong French historical and cultural atmosphere, the author enriched her understanding of art, culture, history, society and "revolution" with a lot of historical details and scenes.
Linda, who writes about America, embarks on a romantic journey to the City of Flowers. However, places that carry history are always heavy: "A hundred years can produce Hugo through accumulation, struggle, and reflection. A hundred years is also enough to bring forth something new and bury a period of history, thus completely forgetting it. The entire nation does not make any progress because of what it has experienced. Paris is a city and also a microcosm of history... You will feel some of their views on history."
