Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
"The Courage of Happiness" is the second and final volume of the "Courage Bilogy".
It is also based on the thoughts of Adler, a famous psychologist a hundred years ago.
It is presented in the form of a story called "Dialogue between a Young Man and a Philosopher".
Three years after our last conversation, the young man had quit his job as a librarian and became an elementary school teacher.
But when he appeared before the philosopher again, he had experienced many hardships in reality (at work) and felt despair about his original ideals: "Adler's ideas have no meaning in the outside world."
The "strong medicine" level philosophical dialogue begins again...
If "The Courage to Be Disliked" is a map,
"The Courage to Be Happy" is a guide to action.
"The Courage to Be Disliked" explores "What should people do to gain freedom?"
The Courage to Be Happy explores "What should people do to become happy?"
