Douban's 2015 annual reading list, the best heart-warming and healing work No.1.
The Slam Dunk of running, "Even if the wind blows, never give up on life."
Bilibili has officially introduced the original novel of the same name for the new passionate anime series "Run with the Wind".
.
The goal of long-distance running is not to be faster, but to be stronger.
“It’s so painful and sad, why can’t I give up running?
Because every cell in my body is eager to feel the strong wind blowing in my face."
.
Ten roommates from the Kansei University dormitory "Takesho" formed a ragtag long-distance running team. Under the devilish training of the team leader, Kiyose Haiji, they started from scratch and advanced towards the "Hakone Ekiden", the oldest long-distance relay race in Japan. These ten college students include two track and field team deserters, a pair of nervous and noisy twins, a handsome manga otaku, a nicotine-addicted perennial repeater, a sharp-tongued elite with super logic, a black foreign student who doesn't like running, an honest young man, and a king of guessing riddles. These "players" didn't even know they were on the track and field team at the beginning, and half of the members had no long-distance running experience. Can they create the biggest miracle in the history of "Hakone Ekiden"? No one knows the answer until the last baton.
.
Two or Three Things About Hakone Ekiden
.
1. The longest-running relay race in Japan began in 1920. It is held on January 2nd and 3rd every year, hosted by the Kanto Student Track and Field Federation and co-organized by the Yomiuri Shimbun. It is the most important sports event in the Japanese New Year that attracts the attention of the entire nation.
2. The route starts from the Yomiuri Shimbun Tokyo Headquarters, stops at Hakone Ashi Lake and then returns. There are 5 sections on the outbound journey and 5 sections on the return journey, totaling 10 sections with a total length of approximately 217 kilometers.
3. The entry threshold is to have achieved an official record of completing 5 km in 17 minutes. (Later adjusted to completing 5 km in 16 minutes and 30 seconds or completing 10 km in 34 minutes)
4. There are 20 participating teams, each with 10 players. Each player in each team must run at least 20 kilometers. (Except for Zone 4, which is 18.5 kilometers)
