"I Don't Want You to Die Without Achievement" Subtitle: 17 Farewell Letters to My Daughter Author: [Afghanistan] Fawzia Koofi
Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
Living has a mission.
Fawzia Koofi, the only female member of the Afghan Parliament, witnessed the suffering and misery of the Afghan people since her childhood and vowed to devote herself to politics. Faced with doubts, slander, an unfair political environment, assassinations and persecutions, she always firmly fought against all opposition forces and fortunately escaped the threat of death again and again.
Every time she left home, it was a dangerous and unknown journey, and she could not guarantee whether she could return safely, so she could only leave a letter to her two dearest daughters before going out:
☆ Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult pains for anyone to bear. However, losing a loved one is a part of life and a part of our growth. No one is exempt from this.
☆Be brave and don't be afraid of anything in life.
☆If you always go with the flow, you will be lost and ignore your own beliefs.
☆It is wrong to refuse to acknowledge reality, but when you are in the surging sea of despair, refusing to acknowledge reality becomes your life-saving raft.
☆ Set your goals high. You can never estimate the extent of a person's explosive power. If you set limits from the beginning, then you will have no desire to explode in this life. How can you talk about height, depth, and width?
☆Don’t just dismiss anyone who comes to you for help. You never know when you may need their help again.
☆Change is not necessarily our enemy. You must learn to accept it and regard it as a part of life.
