Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
This is a century-old legend of a centenarian: the daughter of a rickshaw driver, forced to become a singing girl in a brothel, met a revolutionary and escaped from the fire pit, becoming the wife of a warlord. Unable to endure the feudal family and patriarchal rule, she broke out of the cage again, overcame hardships and dangers, and founded the Shanghai Jinjiang Hotel. Her stormy life was well deserved: a sword is sharpened by grinding, and the fragrance of plum blossoms comes from the bitter cold.
