About the Author
Beatrice Villon, a French illustrator, was born in 1959 in Angoulême, an ancient city in western France (one of the two major comic festivals in the world). She graduated from the Estienne School of Art and Design and has been engaged in the creation of children's books for many years. Beatrice is good at using delicate, rich, vivid and interesting images to present famous world cities and geographical wonders like miniatures. "My World Travel" is a series of works she likes, and it is also a book series that she has spent a lot of time and energy on. She spends a lot of time observing, and sometimes even goes to a place many times to record the local scenes with a camera.
