Yu Qiuyu, born in Zhejiang in 1946, is a contemporary Chinese cultural historian and writer. He has written best-selling works such as "Cultural Journey" and "Notes from a Mountain Dwelling", which have been popular for decades. He has been invited to give lectures at the Library of Congress, the United Nations Headquarters, Harvard University, Yale University, Columbia University and other places.
