Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
"Spring" is the second part of Ba Jin's "Torrent Trilogy", which continues to tell the story that happened in the dilapidated Gao family compound. It mainly describes the different experiences and endings of two girls, Shuying and Hui, in similar environments. At the same time, through the comparison of another group of characters, Qin, Juemin and Juexin, it advocates the fighting spirit of Juemin and Qin, and how this spirit influenced Shuying to embark on the road of rebellion. For Hui and Juexin, the author shows deep sympathy, but also takes a critical attitude.
