Diana Athill (1917-2019) was a well-known British literary editor and writer. She was born in Norfolk, England in 1917. She was the founding director of Andre Deutsch Independent Publishing House and was known as "one of the most outstanding editors of the 20th century". After retiring at the age of 76, she began to create literature, wrote novels and several memoirs, and won many awards including the Costa Biography Award, and became famous. She never married and died in a hospice hospital in London in January 2019 at the age of 101.

Translator

Zeng Rong graduated from Wuhan University in 1990. His translations have been published in Yilin and other magazines. He has published more than ten translated works.
