Kazunari Suzumura, a famous Japanese scholar, literary critic, translator, and professor at Yokohama City University, was born in Nagoya, Japan in 1944. He graduated from the University of Tokyo and settled in Tokyo after retirement, focusing on writing.
He is good at combining life and literature in a warm style, which has attracted wide attention among women and students. His major works include "Haruki Murakami Cats", "Murakami Chronicles 1983-1995", "Not Yet or Already: Haruki Murakami and "The End of the World and Hard-boiled Wonderland", "A Journey to Asian Fantasy: Keizo Hino and the Beauty of Loulan" and more than 30 other books.
