Lin Qingxuan, a native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, is a famous essayist who has been on the list of "Taiwan's Top Ten Best-selling Writers" for ten consecutive years.
He is known as one of the "Eight Great Contemporary Prose Writers".
He began publishing works at the age of 17; published his first book at the age of 20; won all the major literary awards in Taiwan before the age of 30; the "Body and Mind Settlement Series" written after he went into the mountains to practice meditation at the age of 35 was the best-selling work in Taiwan in the 1990s; he completed the "Bodhi Series" at the age of 40, which sold millions of copies and is one of the most influential works of our time.
His articles have been selected many times for inclusion in Chinese language textbooks for primary and secondary schools and Chinese language selections for universities in mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and Singapore.
