Introduction

His name is Woody Allen. He wears glasses, always frowns, and never stops chattering.

He makes a movie every year, including Midnight in Paris, Annie Hall, and Manhattan. You must have seen his works. He writes the scripts for each one himself, like a perpetual motion machine with creativity. He has been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay 16 times and won it three times, which is unmatched so far.

He is a romantic master of wandering cities. The lovers in his photos meet and miss each other on the streets of New York, and take a carriage back to Hemingway's Paris. He said that walking is the most important thing in a day, and he prefers rainy days to sunny days.

He is a genius of humor who can do anything. You will see him play robots, thieves and sperms. He loves to make fun of everyone, including the rich and the poor, including himself. He said, I will never join a club that allows me to join.

However, movies are only a small part of his life.

In an era when jokes were still taboo, he taught himself talk show and could write twenty jokes in a subway ride; he was short and thin, but loved sports and was good at baseball, basketball and rugby; he was a wild ambassador for promoting jazz, changed his career to learn clarinet, and even formed a band that toured Europe; he loved writing more than acting, dropped out of college twice, but became a columnist for The New Yorker; he was hailed by the French as "the only intellectual in Hollywood", and his explanation was that he wore glasses and his movies were a box office failure.

However, he said all of this was meaningless.

He doesn't read film reviews, doesn't like reading, and stops watching his own movies after filming. He doesn't attend award ceremonies, doesn't like socializing, has a fear of entering doors, and only wants to escape through the window at parties. He doesn't know how to use a computer, and only likes to lie in bed and write on an old typewriter. He is a professional homebody philosopher who loves fantasy and hates reality. He started considering suicide at the age of five. He said, "I would rather continue to live in my apartment than continue to live in the hearts and memories of the public."

Now, he was ready to step out of his apartment and start a paper talk show, telling everything, just for once.
