This book contains Trakl's representative works from different periods, including poems, essays and miscellanies, accounting for about two-thirds of his entire career. He uses rich colors to blend wonderful images in an unconventional way to glue together a unique and coherent landscape, which makes people sigh at the infinity of words and imagination.
About the Author · · · · · ·
Trakl began writing poetry as early as 1904 when he was 17 years old. In 1913, he published his first collection of works, "Poems", and two years later he published his second collection of poems, "Sebastian in a Dream", which made him, together with Heim, a representative figure of early expressionist poetry.
