Introduction
A new perspective to interpret the original content and a unique way to explain "Dream of Red Mansions"
The Dream of the Red Chamber, formerly known as The Story of the Stone, is a documentary work on traditional Chinese culture and life. The Dream of the Red Chamber is a rare first-hand source of Chinese studies. In the past, studies on the Red Chamber involved the study of literature and thought, mainly based on Western literature and philosophical thought. This book interprets the Dream of the Red Chamber in an all-round way using Chinese traditional cultural thought, aiming to explain all aspects of Chinese studies through the interpretation of the Dream of the Red Chamber. It can be said that one can personally visit the first scene and see the true face and true skills of the ancients. At a time when Chinese traditional culture is fully revived, it is particularly meaningful to reinterpret this great work.
Cultural celebrity Liu Xiyan interprets new classic masterpieces
The book "Stone Asks the Way" is a new attempt to popularize the immortal masterpiece "Dream of Red Mansions". The author's interpretation of the characters and exploration of the theme in the Red Mansions are based on the text, combined with his own thinking, analyzing the characters' personalities and destinies from the specific story plots, revealing the theme, and putting forward his own unique insights. The book is scattered in form but not in spirit. This seemingly disconnected but connected multi-layered interpretation mode just shows the diversity and unity of the structure of the book, forming a vivid interpretation sign that interprets the Red Mansions by relatively independent chapters and explores the artistic charm of the Red Mansions as a whole. From the macro to the micro, from the story context to the character characteristics, it is all exploring and thought-provoking.
