Wang Kaixuan, a researcher at the Liaoning Academy of Social Sciences, holds a Ph.D. in history. His main research areas include Qin and Han history, Ming and Qing history, the history of Chinese imperial examinations, and Chinese social history. His major works include: Forty Lectures on Qin and Han Social Life, A Draft History of Qin and Han Social Life, History of the Chinese Imperial Examination System, A Study on the Ming Dynasty Imperial Examination System, and A Brief Account of the Qing Dynasty Eight Banners Imperial Examination. He has written nearly a hundred related academic papers. He is the chief editor of Famous Sayings and Classics of the Hundred Schools of Thought and Records of Anti-Corruption in Chinese Dynasties, among others.
