Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
Masanobu Ando advocates "the beauty of daily life", explores art rooted in life, advocates perceiving beauty in subtle places, and restores everyone's true state. He believes that if people can feel happy in their daily lives, then life is happy.
The beautiful objects he recognized were not flawless works of art for display only, but things that could communicate and resonate with people. They were used in daily life and were transformed by life. After going through the test of time, they embodied the beauty that was worn away by time.
"The Awareness of Beauty" is full of Ando Masanobu's experience, questioning and thinking about all forms of beauty. Tea ceremony, sculpture, architecture, food, calligraphy, antiques, fashion, music... As a potter, Ando transcends the limitations of traditional pottery and modern art, actively draws inspiration from other art fields, and gains keen awareness. He tries to sort out the source of oriental art, and integrates the "poor" Zen spirit and the oriental aesthetics of simplicity into his own creation, in order to compete with the mainstream aesthetics dominated by the West, and harvest the beauty of life, the beauty of nature, the beauty of design, and the beauty of the East.
Life aestheticians compete to recommend: Li Ruofan (founder of Carving Time and "Lost and Found"), Su Yan (life aesthetician), Wang Kai (writer, media person), Chen Yuhui@TianluoGirl (food writer), Tang Qi Seven (freelance writer, advocate of life aesthetics), Hippo@Hippo Canteen (senior media person, tableware collector) - they are all loyal supporters of Mr. Ando.
