"The Surrender Experiment" will tell how all this came about and Singer's inner journey over the past 40 years.
The story begins in his early 20s, when he was a PhD student in economics who wanted nothing more than to live alone in the woods.
After a deep spiritual awakening, Singer decided to give up his own prejudices and likes and dislikes and let life itself take the helm of life, that is, to surrender to life.
This bold experiment, which gambled his only life, brought him an extraordinary journey of 40 years and led him to the perfection of life.
Through his own narration, Singh will take you to see a person's pain, entanglement, exploration, discovery, and final blooming.
You will discover all kinds of miracles that may happen in your life after you choose to surrender.
【Celebrity Recommendation】
It was the first time for me to cry while reading a book about self-growth. ... Reading this book, I experienced a huge resonance in my heart and emotional ups and downs, and I often couldn't help but shed tears. ... In his constant exploration of the relationship between "I", "life" and "the world", he went from being unaware to being aware, from being aware to fighting, from fighting to controlling, from controlling to letting go, and from letting go to surrendering. Reading this book, you will see the pain, entanglement, exploration, discovery and final blossoming of a life. He called this process "The Surrender Experiment".
——Li Yinuo (Chief Representative of the Gates Foundation in China, co-founder of the "Slave Society" public account and Yitu Education)
A lonely voice in the modern wasteland calls for surrender, not struggle. In the book, the author tells us that surrendering to life does not mean giving up dreams.
——Sean Acker (Main designer of Harvard Happiness Course, author of the best-selling book "The Happiness Competitiveness")
In his latest book, The Surrender Experiment, Michael Singer reveals with characteristic precision and clarity how everyday life—whether it be dealing with mundane tasks or spiritual practices—can bring us to a core of life that is beyond our imagination, a practical skill that is desperately needed in this chaotic world.
——Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul series planner)
Michael Singer writes a beautiful, moving memory of the amazing power of surrender in life. With courage, boldness, and thoughtfulness, he transcends the status quo and dares to trust life and surrender to its ultimate perfection.
——Judith Orloff (author of Positive Energy)
Only the best books can clearly explain the difference between a human being and a human doing, and why this difference is so important. The Surrender Experiment is such a book. Inspiring, heartfelt, and extremely engrossing.
——Dean Redding (psychologist, author of The Conscious Universe)
