Lin Yutang (1895-1976): A master of Chinese studies and a Chinese writer who has been nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature many times. He has written The Art of Living, My Country and My People, Moment in Peking, etc. He has translated the philosophies of Confucius, Mencius, Laozi and Zhuangzi and the literary works of Tao Yuanming, Li Bai, Su Dongpo, Cao Xueqin and others into English and promoted them overseas.
