Description
Introduction · · · · · ·
Luan Yingxin, a female writer from Northeast China and a post-90s doctoral student in history, reflects on her six years of life in Paris. The author started thinking about life and freedom when she saw apples that were listed as "defective" during her travels, and thus wrote this book. This book consists of some lovely, short chapters. Luan Yingxin describes Paris, where she lives, with a relaxed tone and warm eyes, and recounts her gains in this free city. In this book, she discusses not only a city, but also "Why am I in Paris", "Study Abroad in Paris", "Looking Back at the Past in Paris", and "Where am I Going from Paris". Paris is about literature and life, and the Paris in everyone's heart is different. In addition to academics, Yingxin prefers to observe gently and record life sincerely. For her, Paris is a gentle sea that supports her, allowing her to float freely and be an "apple" that does whatever she wants.
