"Spy" is a subversive new novel by Paulo Coelho, based on the prototype of a legendary dancer during World War I. It penetrates the essence of life in the turbulent times and the ups and downs of life.
In Saint-Lazare prison in Paris, a woman anxiously awaits her verdict. At the end of her life, she has only one wish: to let her daughter know the truth.
She is a dancer who is popular in Europe and a spy in the eyes of people in turbulent times. Her life is woven by prosperity and lies. She has been pursuing "real life", even if it is full of beauty and frustration, loyalty and betrayal.
Everyone is looking for happiness and freedom, but can we bear the price that comes with it?
