Description

Introduction
Although this book is called "Introduction to Hegel's Philosophy of History", it is actually not directly related to Hegel's famous "Philosophy of History", nor is it a special study of the "philosophy of history" in Hegel's huge ideological system. Judging from its content, it is more like a study of the history of the occurrence or formation of Hegel's thoughts (of course, thoughts about history and politics), that is, it focuses on Hegel's early thoughts, that is, thoughts before the emergence of "Phenomenology of Spirit". Only in the last chapter does it involve more of Hegel's early and later thoughts, especially the connection with the relevant thoughts in "Principles of Philosophy of Right". If Hegel established a strict philosophy of history in "Phenomenology of Spirit", then this little book by Ippolit explains Hegel's path to this philosophy of history - a long "road of enlightenment".
