When I walked with you across the fields to the river

The river I saw was more beautiful;

Sitting beside you and watching the clouds

I see more clearly.

You never took nature away from me,

You have not changed what nature means to me,

You bring nature closer to me.

Because of your presence, I see it more beautiful, but it is the same nature,

Because you love me, I love it just as much, but I love it more,

Because you chose me, let me have you and love you,

My eyes linger longer on everything.

I don't regret who I was before

Because I am still the same person.

I only regret that I didn't love you before.
