About the Author
Jim Collins is a famous business bestseller. In his early years, Collins taught and researched at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and won the Outstanding Teaching Award. In 1996, he returned to his hometown of Boulder, Colorado, and founded his own management laboratory to conduct research on business life with leaders of various enterprises and social institutions. He has served as a senior manager and CEO in world-renowned companies such as Merck, Starbucks, Time Mirror Group, and McKinsey. His other book, Good to Great, is also recognized as a classic business book. It was rated as one of the 20 best business bestsellers in the 20th century by Forbes and has been on the Amazon bestseller list for several years. His works have been widely reported by magazines such as Fortune, The Economist, Business Week, and USA Today, causing a huge response.
Jiri Porras is a professor at Stanford University's School of Business and previously worked for companies such as General Electric.
