Icelandic version of "A Man Called Ove Decides to Die"
Everyone has their own battles to fight, and when I'm with you, I want to be the hero I dreamed of being when I was seven years old.
My name is Jonas. I’m almost 49 years old. My wife left me, my mother’s memory has faded to the point where she often doesn’t recognize me, and I have a daughter. To be exact, she is not my daughter. I only recently found out that we are not related by blood.
I have held a newborn squishy baby in my arms, cut down a Christmas tree in the woods in December, taught my child to ride a bicycle, and fought with reality in the long or short nights. I know very well that life has tears and laughter, love and hate, everyone has the talent to write poetry, and everyone knows that they will die one day.

★The Icelandic warm current that heals people’s hearts, and the sad and cute warm man who moved the whole of Europe.
"A Man Called Ove Decides to Die", which is known as the Icelandic version of the novel, won the Nordic Council Literature Prize, a Nobel Prize indicator, and the Icelandic Booksellers Literature Prize.
★As perfect as a crystal ball, full of philosophy and enlightenment.
The stories in the book are like crystal balls, small in size but each one perfectly contains a complete world. A work full of humanistic atmosphere and artistic sense.
