Description

Introduction
1 psychiatrist, 12 mental patients, 4,000 days of treatment and companionship.
Most people enter the hospital to leave, but the patients here are different. They come here to separate themselves from their former selves, and some of them never want to leave after entering. This book is the real diagnosis and treatment notes of psychiatrist Chen Baiyou, recording the craziest and darkest side of the lives of 12 mentally ill patients: a 60-year suicide plan hides the most affectionate secret of a family; a disease that even doctors are afraid of is cured by a mentally ill roommate; a female patient who likes to play hide-and-seek married a policeman and can be taken home even if she hides in a foreign country... They gathered in this small space sealed by layers of iron doors, seemingly receiving treatment, but actually repairing their fragmented lives.
Through the inner world of mentally ill patients, do you also see your own shadow, and see the despair and anxiety hidden in the hearts of us "normal people"? If you are feeling overwhelmed by reality, don't be afraid, don't panic, because everyone has a "sick" time.
About the Author
Chen Baiyou is a chief physician in the psychiatry department of a tertiary hospital with 12 years of experience.
Although he is a psychiatrist, he himself has suffered from mental problems. His catchphrase is: "Everyone has a mental illness sometimes."
I write down these stories in the hope that you can understand the world from another perspective and better understand yourself. More importantly, allow yourself to feel down occasionally and blame yourself less.
