The Book of Watchers in a Desolate World!
"What would it be like if the day of human sacrifice came and there was only one person and one seed left in the world?"
A drought that happened once in a thousand years came, and all the people in the village left, leaving only the grandfather, a blind dog, and a single corn seedling. The sunlight was so scorching that it could measure the weight of light. How could one man and one dog guard a tiny bit of hope and survive? In the repeated cycle of years, months, and days, the harder the sun was, the more powerful life became.
Life is like walking in a long night. I believe that those who wait devoutly will eventually see the light from the spirit.
