About the Author
Andrew Graham Dixon is the chief critic and recommender of arts television programs in the English language. He has provided BBC Broadcasting with six landmark art series, including the highly acclaimed History of British Art, The Renaissance, and Timeless Art, as well as many personalized documents on art and artists. For more than 20 years, he has hosted and published several art columns weekly, first in The Independent and now in The Sunday Telegraph. He has also written many books on medieval painting, sculpture and contemporary art.
