"After Deletion and Narration" collects 51 representative poems of the contemporary poet Ouyang Jianghe from 1985 to 2021, with an essay attached, which presents the poet's distinctive artistic style in a relatively concentrated manner. These poems record not only the era in which he lives, but also his personal life. His poetic thoughts come from the little moments in daily life, and he gets inspiration during sleep and dinner; he also travels through historical poems and essays, accompanied by Huang Tingjian and Bada Shanren, and entrusts poetry and eternity in the deep ancient thoughts. The poems included in this collection are either recognized classics in the history of modern poetry; or active texts that are influential, inspiring, and on-site. They maintain an isomorphic relationship with the era we live in.

Ouyang Jianghe, formerly known as Jiang He, was born in Luzhou, Sichuan in 1956 and currently lives in Beijing. He is a poet and a distinguished professor at Beijing Normal University. He has published 14 poetry collections in Chinese and 11 poetry collections in German, English, French, Arabic and Spanish.
