=====
Activate the theory, let it flow, and run everywhere, even drag it to places I can't predict. I believe that giving a closed and reductive interpretation to the theory is actually killing the theory. (Wang Min'an)
=====
In contemporary Chinese theoretical writing, Wang Min'an is a unique writer and thinker. He travels through the theoretical space between philosophy, literature, art and daily life scenes, wanders in the neutral zone between academic writing and theoretical essays, and constructs a series of visual theoretical screens, placing us in a poetic space where theory and reality are intertwined.

=====Introduction=====
Scholar Wang Min'an's new masterpiece of contemporary cultural research is a cultural exploration centered on the three major themes of "emotion, material, and contemporaneity", re-examining emotions, materials, language, and art in daily life. The three major themes are interrelated and reflect each other, revealing that cultural issues ultimately affect people's emotions, literature, art, and business, affect the relationship between people and society, and infiltrate and influence everyone's living conditions. This is a feast of cultural research that breaks the old theoretical framework, a fruitful tracing of the roots of contemporaneity, and leads to thought-provoking questions: In the current era, do people and subjects in the humanistic sense still exist? Has human subjectivity been destroyed and replaced by materials, symbols, machines, traffic, data, etc.?
