British writer and art critic, known as the "Messenger of Beauty", he struggled for "beauty" all his life. In 1843, he became famous for his book "Modern Painters", in which he highly praised William Turner's painting creation, making him the spokesperson of Victorian artistic taste. His prose works are very beautiful and sonorous, and are excellent works of prose.

Illustrator: Elizabeth M. Fisher (birth and death years unknown)

An American illustrator, he created illustrations for books such as "The Lost Empire" and "The King of the Golden River" in the 1920s. His painting style is simple and the colors are elegant and fresh.
