Nikolai Ostrovsky (1904-1936)

A famous Soviet proletarian writer and Bolshevik fighter. Born into a working-class family, he was seriously injured in battle at the age of 16. Later, due to the recurrence of injuries, his body gradually became paralyzed. In the pain, he began literary creation. It took him three years to create the influential masterpiece "How the Steel Was Tempered" based on his personal experience.

Kuang Zehong holds a master's degree in English interpretation from Beijing Foreign Studies University and a CATTI Level 3 translation certificate. He has been involved in the translation of film and television works for 8 years, completing the translation of about two seasons of TV series each year.
