Do You Know Paris? is a collection of columns written by French writer Raymond Queneau for the newspaper Intransigente in the mid-1930s. The book introduces a lot of "little-known facts" about Paris through 456 extremely brief questions and answers. It can be regarded as a minimalist French historical and cultural dictionary, as well as a unique travel guide to Paris.

★Another alternative work by the author of "Style Exercise" and "One Hundred Trillion Poems"

★A literary master who loves Paris deeply takes you into this city

★ 456 Paris "little-known facts" and 456 Paris Q&A made into a book

★Raymond Queneau, the literary mentor of Nobel Prize winner Modiano

From November 1936 to October 1938, Raymond Queneau asked readers three questions about Paris every day in the Intransigente newspaper, and then answered them one by one in the advertising section. In two years, these questions totaled 2,102, including historical anecdotes, urban legends, human sorrows and joys, and of course, full of nostalgia for Paris' past, longing for the future, and current anxiety. Do You Know Paris? selected 456 questions from these questions and answers and compiled them into a book, like a wise man who deeply loves Paris taking readers into this city of art, fashion, culture, and romance.
